I hope everyone is recovered from the holidays and back to a comfortable routine. We had a great party at the Manor Inn. Seems like everyone enjoyed the good food and conversation. We held our officers meeting January 11th. We talked about a number of things which we will report on at the next meeting. We decided it would be nice to get more chapter airplane projects going. A way to start is have chapter members more familiar with kit and plans built options out there. The airplane recognition contest will be a fun way to test your current knowledge and learn more. With that knowledge you will be more able to educate would be builders of maybe become one yourself! We will also be giving a seminar on homebuilt airplanes to nonaffiliated Chapter 27 EAA members and local pilots sometime this year as a recruiting activity.
